About Me:
If stretch marks and caffeine addiction aren't sufficient enough qualifications to write a parenting column, I actually graduated in 1986 from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Journalism. Since then, my feature stories have appeared in newspapers and magazines across the country and throughout the blogosphere. My 15 minutes of fame came when a column that I wrote on my family's camping disaster won a contest and appeared as a webisode starring comic actress Leah Remini on the groundbreaking online comedy series "In The Motherhood," which reached more than 20 million viewers.
As an author in the St. Louis Jewish Book Festival, the largest event of its kind in the United States attracting more than 23,000 people, I'm also available for public speaking engagements and book signings and have entertained multi-generational audiences at several organizations, including Hadassah, and, of course, my children's bnei mitzvahs (which are my proudest gigs yet).
