About Ellie
If stretch marks and caffeine addiction aren’t sufficient enough qualifications to write a parenting column, I actually graduated in 1986 from the best journalism school in the country at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Since then, my work as a freelance writer has appeared in magazines and newspapers throughout the country. My column on “Why Jewish Girls Don’t Camp” was featured as a “webisode” on the online comedy series called “In The Motherhood,” which reached more than 20 million viewers.
Publicity for my successful parenting humor column has appeared in www.stlmomsworld.com, www.STLtoday.com, Jewish Women International, and a variety of blogs, plus I’ve added public speaking to my resume and have entertained multi-generational audiences at several organizations. If you would like a complete list of my published articles and speaking engagements, please contact me at ellie@mishegasofmotherhood.com.
